Djert Room
6 Weeks - 2 Years
Our baby room promotes intrinsic curiosity in a supportive and nurturing environment. Educators build reciprocal relationships with the children which assists them in their social and emotional development. The environment is warm and nurturing, which provides the children with the opportunities to build on their physical strength and motor coordination, fine and gross motor skills, hand/eye and eye/foot coordination and full body movement. We have a well-shaded outdoor nature space for our Babies to explore throughout the year.
We can accommodate up to 8 children in our Djert room each day.
Cooinda Room
2 - 3 Years
Our toddlers are encouraged to develop confidence, independence and self-help skills through play-based learning opportunities supported by our beautiful nature play setting.
We focus on the children’s self-help skills, sense of agency, communication, resilience, understanding and learning to regulate their emotions. The children also learn about respectfulness in relation to their belongings, resources, each other, nature, animals and the environment.
We can accommodate up to 15 children in our Cooinda room each day.
Koorda / Walken rooms
3 - 5 Years
In our Koorda and Walken rooms, our Early Childhood Teacher and educators promote the children's natural curiosity and independence skills in preparation for the transition to school. Children are encouraged to develop skills to build on their relationships and friendships and to learn how to invite themselves into play.
We foster their sense of agency and self-help skills, such as filling water bottles, making beds, caring for their belongings, serving themselves at mealtimes, dressing themselves and toileting. We encourage the children to develop good communication skills and assist them in building their confidence and vocabulary so they can express their needs and concerns. Educators establish professional reciprocal relationships with families to provide a holistic approach to their child’s development and learning.
We can accommodate up to 25 children in our Koorda and Walken room each day.
