Our Centre

The Willetton Child Care Centre (WCCC) is a community based not-for-profit service, which means all proceeds are reinvested in the management and development of the centre. Established in 1986, the WCCC is licensed to care for 48 children per day from 0 to 5 years old.

 

As a registered ‘not-for profit’ community-based centre, WCCC has a volunteer Board of elected community members that make the important decisions together, supporting the Director in the running of the centre with all fees reinvested to benefit the children, their families and our staff.

Our Rooms

We offer a carefully considered curriculum employing the Reggio Emilia philosophy of learning, structured in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards. By building strong relationships between the children in our care, their families and the broader community we create an experiential learner-driven environment.

Djert Room

6 Weeks - 2 Years

Our babies room promotes intrinsic curiosity in a supportive and nurturing environment. We have a well-shaded outdoor nature space for babies to explore throughout the year. 

Cooinda Room

2 - 3 Years

Our toddlers are encouraged to develop confidence, independence and self-help skills through play based learning opportunities supported by our beautiful nature play setting.

Koorda/Walken 

3 - 5 Years

We have two kindy rooms with our full-time Early Childhood teacher and a team of qualified educators to promote the children's natural curiosity and independence skills in preparation for the transition to school.
